    Background: This week marks the first anniversary of a major expansion of the war in South-East Asia -- the overthrow of Prince Sihanouk in Cambodia which led to the subsequent intervention by America and South Vietnamese forces in their country.

    Sole of the most savage fighting triggered off by last year's coup is recalled in this library compilation. Also included is part of a speech by Prince Sihanouk on the eve of his overthrow, in which he said he was making a last disparate effort to preserve Cambodian neutrality.
