    President Tito of Yugoslavia arrived in Dacca, capital of Bangladesh, on Tuesday (January 29th) -- the first head of state to visit Bangladesh since it came into being two years ago.

    President Mohammadullah and Prime Minister Sheikh Mujibur Rahman greeted President Tito and his wife when they flew in from a five-day visit to India. A cheering crowd was also there to welcome him.

    President Tito and Premier Sheikh Mujib held talks on Wednesday. Afterwards they issued a joint statement calling on non-aligned and developing countries to co-operate to protest their trading interests.

    Bangladesh foreign Minister Enayet Karim also told reporters that Yugoslavia had agreed to increase help for Bangladesh's massive agricultural development programme.
