    About 200 demonstrators protested outside the West German embassy in Paris on Wednesday against the sentencing of nazi-hunter Beate Klarsfeld to two months imprisonment. Mrs. Klarsfeld was sent to jail in Cologne for attempting to kidnap wartime Paris Gestapo head Kurt Lischuka back to France.

    The demonstrators include former members of the French resistance and members of the Paris City Council as well as a group of French Jewish organisations. One of the demonstrators said the protest was not against the Germans but against the nazis.

    The demonstrators were kept away from the embassy by police.

    Mrs. Klarsfeld was among the demonstrators and was applauded by the crowd. She said she would appeal against the sentence. A petition calling for the court to reverse its decision was presented to a representative at the embassy.

    SYNOPSIS: More than 200 people gathered outside the West German Embassy in Paris on Wednesday to protest against the sentencing of a French woman to prison on an attempted kidnapping charges. On Tuesday a Cologne court sentenced Mrs. Beate Klarsfeld to two months jail for attempting to kidnap wartime Paris gestapo chief Kurt Lischka back to Paris. The demonstrators included former members of the French underground, members of the Paris City Council and representatives of French Jewish organisations.

    Mrs. Klarsfeld was among the demonstrators. She said she would appeal against the sentence. Mrs. Klarsfeld said she was worried that the treaty allowing German war criminals to be retired in West Germany would not be stopped by the Bonn Government.

    Police kept the demonstrators back from the embassy. After some discussions a representative group was allowed to enter the building to present a petition calling for the Cologne court to reverse it decision.
