Cuban Prime Minister Dr. Fidel Castro, arrived in Rabat on Thursday (6 July) for a two-hour stopover on his way home from Moscow at the end of a two-month international tour.
The Cuban leader was met at the airport by Prime Minister Mohamed Karim Lamrani of Morocco.
In an airport statement, Dr. Castro said his tour of African and Eastern European countries had been "highly positive".
He denied he was in ill health and described reports of medical treatment in the Soviet Union as "American inventions".
