    A RELAXED AND HAPPY PRESIDENT TITO ACKNOWLEDGED THE WELCOME FROM AN OPEN CAR.HIS WIFE LIKEWISE BEAMED WITH PLEASURE.ON REACHING THE PALACE SHE SHOOK THE HAND OF THE PRESIDENT AND IN ENGLISH THANKED HIM FOR THE "WONDERFUL RECEPTION".

    LATER A GALA BANQUET WAS HELD IN WHICH BOTH PRESIDENTS APPEALED FOR PEACEFUL UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN NATIONS.PRESIDENT TITO SAID THERE WAS A GROWING WILL TO SOLVE THE PROBLEMS OF THE COLD WAR AND COMMENTED THAT THE SMALLER NATIONS HAD A ROLE TO PLAY IN BRINGING THIS ABOUT.

    PRESIDENT MATEOS REPLIES THAT YUGOSLAVIA AND MEXICO WERE EXAMPLES OF COUNTRIES WITH DIFFERENT IDEOLOGIES AND SOCIAL SYSTEM BEING FRIENDS.
