    THE SOUTH VIETNAMESE PRIME MINISTER, AIR VICE-MARSHAL KY SPENT THE SECOND DAY OF HIS CANBERRA VISIT CONFERRING WITH THE AUSTRALIAN CABINET. HE ALSO PAID TRIBUTE TO AUSTRALIA'S WAR DEAD AT THE NATIONAL MONUMENT. HIS WIFE, MRS. KY VISITED A MOTHERCRAFT CENTRE.

    IN CONTRAST TO THE PROTEST BANNERS SEEN DURING THE PRIME MINISTER'S VISIT, THERE WERE WELCOME BANNERS FOR HIM AT THE WAR MEMORIAL IN CANBERRA. THEE HE LAID A WREATH IN THE SHAPE AND COLOURS OF THE SOUTH VIETNAMESE FLAG.

    WITH PRIME MINISTER HAROLD HOLT, THE SOUTH VIETNAMESE LEADER ATTENDED A MEETING OF THE CABINET. MARSHAL KY THANKED THE GOVERNMENT FOR AUSTRALIAN MILITARY AND CIVILIAN AID IN VIETNAM.

    TWO-HUNDRED ANTI-WAR DEMONSTRATORS LED BY THE OPPOSITION LEADER ARTHUR CALDWELL, SHOUTED "GO HOME KY" AS THE CABINET MET. HOWEVER, MARSHAL KY'S WIFE SAID SHE WOULD LIKE TO INVITE HIM TO VISIT VIETNAM.

    DURING THE DAY MRS. KY VISITED THE CANBERRA MOTHERCRAFT SOCIETY'S BABY HEALTH CENTRE. SHE WAS SHOWN ROUND BY THE MATRON AND CHATTED TO THE YOUNGSTERS.
