Background: A delegation from the National Front of Cambodia, also referred to as the Kamptuia Liberation Front, was given a warm reception in Hanoi last week (10 November), according to information accompanying this film. The delegation, led by Yeng Sary, had recently completed a trip to the People's Republic f China. While visiting Peking, the delegation conferred with deposed leader Prince Sihanouk concerning the Front's continuing battle against the Khmer Republic and Premier Lon Nol.
At Hanoi Airport, the delegation was greeted by North Vietnam's Foreign Minister Nguyen Duy Trinh and a crowd estimated at nearly 1,000.
At the end of their first full day in Hanoi, the delegation form the National United Front were the guests of honour at a large reception given in Hanoi's Sa Dinh Meeting Hall. Welcoming speeches were made by the North Vietnam Foreign Minister and Hanoi's Mayor Tran Duy Hung.
In reply to the welcoming speeches, leader of the delegation Yeng Sary said that the aid of the North Vietnamese has been most helpful in carrying on the fight against the "United States imperialists" and the "puppet government" in the Khmer Republic, formerly referred to as Cambodia.

The delegation, led by Yeng Sary, had previously completed a trip to Peking, where they had been conferring with deposed Cambodian leader Prince Sihanouk.
On the following day, the delegation was treated to a special reception at Hanoi's enormous Ba Dinh Meeting Hall. In addition to the large audience, many North Vietnamese officials and foreign diplomats were present. The National United front had been consulting officials in Peking concerning the Front's fight against the government of Premier Lon Nol in the Khmer Republic, formerly known as Cambodia.
Foreign Minister Nguyen Duy Trinh opened the reception with his welcoming speech for the delegation from the National United Front of Cambodia. The Mayor of Hanoi then added words of his won.
In reply, the leader of the delegation Yeng Sary, said that the Front appreciate the aid and advice given by the North Vietnamese. The United States imperialists, he said, and the puppet government of Premier Lon Nol will be defeated. Yeng Sary said that the Front's large scale operation throughout Cambodia s expected to start soon on all fronts.
