MR TRAN VAN HUU, PRIME MINISTER FROM 1950 TO 1952, SAID HE DID NOT THINK IT LIKELY OR POSSIBLE THAT A COALITION GOVERNMENT COULD EMERGE DURING THE PRESENT STATE OF CONFLICT.

    MR TRAN VAN HUU MADE HIS REMARKS AFTER THE NORTH VIETNAMESE FOREIGN MINISTER, MR TRINH, HAD SAID NORTH VIETNAM WAS NOT OPPOSED TO THE FORMATION OF A COALITION GOVERNMENT IN SAIGON.
