    Bert Denly was Eyston's mechanic and co-driver, he was also a record-breaker in his own right on Motorbikes and sidecars and helped Eyston in achieving this record. He was easy to pick out as he was only 5'2 and you can see him in the crowd behind the 'Speed of the Wind'. There are record-breaking motorcycles still on view in Brooklands Museum United Kingdom.
