    THE COMMON MARKET'S COUNCIL OF MINISTERS BEGAN A MARATHON MEETING IN BRUSSELS TODAY, (MONDAY), EXPECTED TO BE DECISIVE FOR THE FUTURE OF THE SIX-NATION ECONOMIC COMMUNITY.

    AIM OF THE SESSION, DUE TO LAST WITH ONLY BRIEF ADJOURNMENTS UNTIL DECEMBER 21, IS TO FIND AGREEMENT ON A SERIES OF PROBLEMS FOR THE SO-CALLED "KENNEDY ROUND" OF TARIFF NEGOTIATION IN GENERA; COMMON CEREAL PRICES; AND, MACHINERY THE OPERATION OF A AGRICULTURAL FUND.

    THE AGRICULTURAL MINISTER OF "THE SIX", ARE MEETING FROM TODAY UNTIL THURSDAY, (DECEMBER 12), AND FROM THE 16TH TO THE s OF THE MONTH. THE OPENING SESSION WAS PRESIDED OVER BY MR. BIESHEUVEL, HOLLAND'S VICE-PREMIER AND AGRICULTURE MINISTER. THE FOREIGN MINISTERS OF THE ECONOMIC COMMUNITY ARE TO MEWED SIMULTANEOUSLY AND A NUMBER OF JOINT SESSIONS ARE EXPECTED TOWARDS THE END OF THE MONTH.

    MOST OFFICIALS AND DELEGATES ARE CONVINCED THAT IT WILL BE IMPOSSIBLE FOR THE MINISTER TO REACH FULL AGREEMENT ON THE WHOLE PROGRAMME BY DECEMBER 31, AND THEY WILL HAVE TO CONTINUE THEIR TALKS WELL INTO THE NEW YEAR.
