The Burmese Prime Minister, U Nu, Cabinet Ministers and leaders of political parties welcomed the Chinese Premier, Chou en-Lei, and a delegation of 47 members, including Foreign Minister, Marshal Chen Yi, to Rangoon, Jan 2, on a seven-day goodwill visit.

This is the ninth visit of a delegation from Communist China in 12 days. This time, Premier Chou en-Lei was guest of honour at Burma's 13th Anniversary celebrations. The visit also marked final agreement on boundaries between the two countries.

Four aircraft brought Mr. Chou and his party to the city. Colorful groups were at the airport to surround them with flowers and Chinese and Burmese flags.

In a speech, Mr. Chou said: "We have brought the warmest congratulations of 650 million Chinese people."
