    CONCORDE NUMBER THREE -- THE FIRST PRE-PRODUCTION MODEL, AS OPPOSED TO THE TWO PROTOTYPES 001 AND 002 - WAS UNVEILED AT THE BRISTOL AIRCRAFT CORPORATION WORKS IN BRISTOL, ENGLAND ON WEDNESDAY (MARCH 31).

    IT IS SLIGHTLY HEAVIER AND LONGER THAN THE TWO PROTOTYPES ALREADY IN THE AIR. DUE TO FLY IN SEPTEMBER (1971), IT WILL SPEND THE NEXT FIVE MONTHS ON THE GROUND HAVING ITS ROLLS-ROYCE OLYMPUS ENGINES FITTED AND UNDERGOING VIBRATION TESTS ON THE FUSELAGE. THE ENGINES, INCIDENTALLY, ARE MANUFACTURED ON THE OPPOSITE SIDE OF THE AIRFIELD TO THE BAC WORLS.
