    AFTERWARDS, DEMONSTRATION ORGANISERS INCLUDING PARLIAMENTARIANS AND UNIVERSITY PROFESSORS COMPLAINED THAT EXTREMISTS HAD JOINED THE MARCH.

    THE DEMONSTRATORS CHANTED SLOGANS AGAINST THE POLICIES OF PRESIDENT JOHNSON IN THE VIETNAMESE CONFLICT. AS THEY MARCHED THEY SHOUTED - "AMERICANS - GO HOME" - "YANKEE-NAZI" - AND "JOHNSON".
