    WHILE THE CEREMONY AT THE CENOTAPH WAS PROCEEDING, A LEADING BRITISH CHURCHMAN, CANON JOHN COLLINS, WAS PREACHING IN SAINT PAUL'S CATHEDRAL AGAINST THE 'UNREALISTIC MILITARY POMP' OF REMEMBRANCE DAY SERVICES. HE SAID THE SERVICES SHOULD INCLUDE SOME ASPECTS TO REMIND PEOPLE OF THE HORRORS OF WAR.

    CANON COLLINS SAID REMEMBRANCE DAY SHOULD BE A GENUINE COMMEMORATION BEFORE GOD.
