Background: English-styled and trained Greek Raiding Forces exhibited Nov 19, in Kardili, Greece, their skill in commando warfare and parachute jumping. The first Commando Regiment of the Greek Army was formed and trained by British officers in the Middle East.

Deputy-Chief of Greek General Staff, Lt-Gen. Daskolopoulos, Raiding Forces Commander Brig. Siapkaras, Allied Military Attaches and other high-ranking officers watched this exercise by Greek Commandos.
