    The 15th anniversary of the liberation - May 8, 1945 - of surviving prisoners in the Nazi concentration camp of Neuengamme, near Hamburg, was marked by ceremony, May 6, commemorating the victims of the Hitler regime at the memorial to them at Ohlsdorf Cemetery, Hamburg.

    Attending the ceremony was President Lubke, Burgomaster of Hamburg, Max Brauer, representatives of Hamburg's Jewish community and Hamburg police. Wreaths from the President and from the Hamburg Senate were placed on the memorial.

    Situated at the memorial are 40 urns containing ashes of victims from all concentration camps that were set up in Germany.
