Background: A crowd of cheering fans and eager pressmen gave an enthusiastic welcome to the "World's most glamorous grandmother" Marlene Dietrich, when she arrived from New York at Orly airport, Paris, Nov. 20.

Wearing an off-white suit with a matching, mink-lined coat and mink cloche hat, she was greeted by French singer Jean Sablon and by M. Coquatrix.

Marlene is to star in a musical revue directed by M. Coquatrix, which opens at the Theatre de l'Etuile in Paris, Nov. 27.
