Background: An A.B.C. reporter and cameraman working in Rhodesia have been ordered to leave the country by later today.
The reporter, Richard Palfreyman and the cameraman, Les Seymour, arrived in Rhodesia ten days ago. Palfreyman says the papers ordering them to leave were served by a uniformed immigration officer and a plain clothes officer who called at their hotel room on Friday evening. They were told their temporary work permits had been cancelled but no reason was given.
Palfreyman says he has no ideal why he and Seymour have been ordered to leave and he could not think of any report he' filed which might have offended the Rhodesian authorities.
No a report from Richard Palfreyman on how white Rhodesians view the forthcoming Geneva conference.
