    INTERNATIONAL CONTROL COMMISSION MEMBERS COMPOSED OF CANADA, INDIA, INDONESIA AND HUNGARY VISITED U.S. POW'S CAMP IN HANOI TO OBSERVE THEIR LIVING CONDITIONS ALTHOUGH 108 U.S. POW'S WERE RELEASED ON THE SOMEDAY PRO: PHILIPPINES AND THEY LEFT TO MANILA FROM GIA LAM AIRPORT, HANOI. 244 U.S. POWS WERE RELEASED SO FAR INCLUDING TWO THAILAND PILOTS NAMES CHEM BAMRUNG UOM AND PHEPHAN XIRION. NDN CAMERAMAN WAS AUTHORISED JUST TO SHOOT INTERIOR OF THE PRISONER CAMP FEW MINUTES AND COULD NOT COVER TO SHOOT FACES OF REMAINING POWS. HOWEVER, ABOUT HALF OF U.S. PRISONERS WERE STILL INTERNED IN VARIOUS CAMPS IN AND AROUND HANOI. RELEASED 108 POWS COVERS TWO THAIS, 69 AIR FORCE OFFICERS AND MEN AND 36 NAVAL CREWS AND ONE MARINE CORP SOLDIER. RELEASING CEREMONY WAS TAKEN PLACE AT HANOI GIA LAM AIRPORT ATTENDED BY U.S. RECEIVING OFFICERS AND MEMBERS OF INTERNATIONAL CONTROL COMMISSION. IT IS REPORTED THAT ONE OF PILOT WHO WAS RELEASED HAD BEEN IN THE CAMP NEARLY FIVE YEARS AND HALF SINCE HIS PLANE WAS SHOT DOWN AUGUST 18TH, 1964 IN QANG BINH PROVINCE.
