    In the new Hungarian Government, which was elected by the proposal of the central committee of the Hungarian Socialist Worker's Party and the National Council of the Patriotic Popular front and submitted to the parliament by the Presidium, four new ministers are taking part. Ferene Havasi became deputy prime minister, Tivadar Nemeslaki minister of metallurgy and Machine Industry, Dr. Pal Romany minister if Agriculture and Food Industry, pal Simon minister of Heavy Industries. On the oath ceremony there were present Janos Kadar, First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Socialist Worker's Party, Gyula Kallai, President of the National council of the Patriotic Popular Front and Laszle Nanasi, member of the Presidium.

    The short biography of the new ministers:
    One of the deputy prime ministers is Ferene Havasi
    Ferene Havasi was born in 1929, in Piszke, a son of a worker family.

    After the liberation he participate ??? in the movement of the youth, he is member since 1947 of the trade union of construction worker. Since 1949 he was active as an exempted party worker. In 1952 he became the head of the agitation and propaganda department of the Party Committee of County Komarom. In 1954 he was elected to the second secretary of the Party Committee of this County, since 1966 he is the First Secretary. In 1966 on the IXth Congress of the Hungarian Socialist Worker's Party he was elected into the Central Committee. He remained in this office after the Xth and XIth Party Congress.

    Tivadar Nemeslaky is the new Minister of Metallurgy and Machine Industry, he was born in Tatahanya from a worker family.

    After the liberation he became in the ??? Almasfusit? chief trade unions steward, later he was elected to man of the work committee, later he was elected to the Secretary of the County Komarom of Trade Unions, he worked here since 1949.

    In 1950 he led in the Central Administration of the Party the subdepartment of trade unions. In 1959 he was elected to the First Secretary of the Party Committee of Country Komarom.

    In 1966 he became the General secretary of the Trade Union of the Ironworker, Since 1970 he was the Unions, since 1973 he was the Deputy General Secretary of the National Council of Trade Unions.

    Dr. P????l Rom????ny is the new Minister of agriculture and Food Industry. He was born in 1929, in Szajol. His father was an ironworker. He became on the University of Agriculture in Godollo agriculture engineer. In 1970 he became candidate of the agriculture sciences.

    Since 1952 he worked in the Ministry of state Farms and Forests, later in the Ministry of Agriculture. Between 1960-1970 he worked on the Economies Department of the Central Committee of the Socialist Worker's Party as political collaborator, later he became the deputy leader of this department. In 1970 he was elected to the First secretary of the Party Committee of County Bacs-Kiskum and in this year he became member of the Central Committee. Since 1973 h is working on the department for Economical Development of the Central Committee of Hungarian Socialist Worker's Party.

    Dr. P????l Simon is the now Minister of Heavy Industries. He was born in 1923, in Miskolo. His father was a worker of the Lenin Metallurgical Works. He obtained the diploma as a chemical engineer on the Technical University of Budapest. Between 1955-1959 he was aspirant in the Light Chemical Technical Institute in Moscow and in 1959 he got the title "candidate of chemical sciences".

    Until 1973 he was the director of the "Danube Oil Company, later he became the general manager of the National Oil and Gas Trust. In 1974 he became Deputy Minister of Heavy Industries. Since more then 10 years he is a member of the oil and gas industry committee of Comecon.
