Background: The weekly cabinet session was this week held on Monday after PM Rabin's return from Stockhold's Conference of Socialist Prime Ministers and Mr. Rabin's meeting with UN Secretary General Kurt Waldheim. It can be assumed that Israel's efforts to forestall a UN Arab sponsored ouster of Israel and the latest stage in Israel-Egypt interim agreement negotiations were among the topics discussed.

Strangely enough an unusually large number of maps was carried into the building by the Chief of Staff, the Chief of Intelligence major General Gazit, and Raphael ??? occupied areas. The meeting lasted for 6 hours and according to the Cabinet secretary "no political discussions were ???". Nothing more definite was said.
