    England's soccer captain, Bobby Moore tonight (Thursday) made the draw for the individual entrants taking part in a unique motor rally to coincide with the World Cup in Mexico City. Moore was picking the starting positions for the World Cup Motor Rally will take contestants thousands of miles over some of the worst conditions on two continents.

    The rally carries top prize money of 10,000 pounds (26,000 dollars). The entrants leave London on April 19. They drive to Dover, cross to France and travel through Sofia, Milan and Lisbon where they again take to the sea and cross by boat to Rio de Janeiro. The rally restarts in Rio and the entrants go through Montevideo, Buenos Aires, Santiago, La Paz, Lima and finally Buenaventura where they board another ship for the final leg up through Mexico to Mexico City.

    Private entries have been received from 19 countries. Among them is Prince Michael of Kent who'll be driving an Austin Maxi.

    The rally has been organised by the London Daily Mirror. In all there are 106 entrants who'll be competing for prize money totalling 35,000 pounds (85,000 dollars) ... and with an entrance fee of 600 pounds (1,500 dollars) it's certain everyone will be trying.
