  • Description

On the eve of the announcement of the British plan for Cyprus, our reporter Ronald Robson interviewed leaders of the Greek and Turkish communities in Limassol and got two conflicting views about the possibility of their living together in the future.

On the roof of the local Town Hall, he spoke to Mr. Costas Partasides, who is head of the Greek section there...

He then talked with Doctor Nazif Deizear, leader of the Turkish community....
The camera also visited Nicosia, where the plentiful evidence of barbed wire in the streets makes it appear as if partition has already taken place between the Greek and Turk populace.

There are many reports of the two sections fleeing to their own sections of the towns.
