Background: Princess Muna, English-born wife of King Hussein of Jordan, left London for Jordan with their twin daughters today (January 17).
The Princess and her daughters, Zein and Aisha, two years old, waited in a VIP lounge before being driven across the tarmac to the Jordanian Caravelle aircraft by King Hussein. Uniformed and plain-clothed police provided a strict security guard as the party boarded the aircraft.
Princess Muna and the children have been in England since last summer, and missed the worst of the fighting between troops and guerrillas in Jordan last year.
