    AT THE AIRPORT TO WELCOME HIM WERE THE CABINET MEMBERS AND DIPLOMATIC CORPS.

    THE TUNKU SAID THAT BEFORE HE SET OFF ON HIS MISSION HE WAS TOLD ON HIGH AUTHORITY THAT THE INDONESIANS WOULD BE PREPARED TO SUBMIT THE WEST NEW GUINEA QUESTION TO UNITED NATIONS WITH CERTAIN PROVISIONS.

    THE TUNKU ADDED THAT NOW THE INDONESIAN FOREIGN MINISTER DR. SUBANDRIO HAS SAID THAT INDONESIA WOULD NOT ALLOW UNITED NATIONS IN THE DISPUTE EXCEPT FOR TRANSFER OF POWER FROM HOLLAND TO INDONESIA, THE NEXT MOVE WOULD HAVE TO COME FROM INDONESIA ITSELF.
