    AT THE END OF A SPECIAL SERVICE A MEMORIAL TO THE AIRMEN WHO LOST THEIR LIVES WAS UNVEILED BY THE COMMANDER OF THE POLISH FORCES IN BRITAIN DURING THE WAR, GENERAL WLADYSLAW ANDERS, AND AIR MARSHAL SIR FREDERICK ROSIER.

    ABOUT 300 FORMER POLISH AIRMEN NOW LIVING IN ENGLAND WERE AT THE SERVICE. AMONG OTHER GUESTS WERE MILITARY AND AIR FORCE OFFICIALS, AS WELL AS MEMBERS OF LOCAL COUNCILS AND LONDON'S POLISH COMMUNITY.
