    PREMIER LEE WAS MET AT THE KUCHING AIRPORT BY SARAWAK'S CHIEF MINISTER DESIGNATE, MR. STEPHEN KALONG NINGKAN, AND OTHER MEMBERS OF THE SARAWAK CABINET.

    SPEAKING TO NEWSMEN, MR. LEE SAID: "IF WE ARE TO DOUBT OUR DESTINY, WE CAN HARDLY EXPECT THE REST OF THE WORLD TO BELIEVE IN IT".

    SOME HOURS LATER, HE FLEW TO JESSELTON, NORTH BORNEO, WHERE HE WAS MET ON ARRIVAL BY GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS.
