CU Khaled Mohieddin, leader of Egyptian National Progressive Unionist Party, speaking in English.
MOHIEDDIN: (SEQ 1) "I think the most important point to face the Egyptian people and all national and political forces is how to end very quickly the state of violence which has spread in Egypt and to know the reasons politically, economically and socially and how to unite all these forces to end this state and come back to the competition democracy between all political forces. The second point is how to bring the Egyptian economy back by directing all its policies towards production aspects of the economy which has been lacking over the last few years which face the country with a big crisis and big difference in incomes between the rich and the poor and the declaration by President Mubarak in his seven points in the parliament has been accepted by all political forces. Of course every political force has its own philosophy on how to defend the neutrality of Egypt. Neutrality Egypt not to be part of any strategy of the two big powers and end all relations and acts which keep Egypt under the influence of one of the great powers in the region. So this is the main items of the people of Egypt and all political forces to fight for."
