  • Description

New machinery reducing by up to 50 per cent the cost of making Dutch cheese, is now operating at Oudeschoot, Friesland, Holland.

Claimed as the first of its kind in the world, the new cheese-making machinery dispenses with long and tiring hours of skilled manual work, and can be used for all types of cheese.

The curdled milk is put into revolving containers, and gradually forced into the desired shape by machine-driven presses. The cheeses then automatically leave the shaping moulds, and later undergo traditional processes.
