Background: The Prime Minister of San Tome and Principle, Miguel Trovoada, is visiting neighbouring African countries for official talks with government leaders.
His first stop was the Congo where he had talks in Brazzaville with the Congolese Prime Minister, Louis Sylvain Goma, on Tuesday (14 September). Sao Tome and Principle gained independence from Portugal in July last year. This is some of the first film of Monsieur Trovoada in his new role as leader.
During the three day visit the two leaders were reported to have held talks on mutual economic cooperation and the possibility of scientific and cultural exchanges. Monsieur Trovoada also brought with him greetings from the President of Sao Tome and Principle, Manuel Pinto De Costa, for his Congolese counterpart, Major Marien Ngouabi. Monsiwur Trovoada later met the Congolese President.
Monsieur Trovoada and his party left on Thursday (16 September) for Cameroun for similar talks with Cameroun leaders.
