Zambian President, Dr. kenneth kaunda, has come out with a stinging attack against the government?
GV Zambian President Kenneth Kaunda speaking in English as audience watch (3 shots)
KAUNDA: "As we all know comrades we are dealing with some of the most savage people that we have ever come across-real savages. In the twentieth century the belief that two hundred and fifty thousand of them can conclude definitely to rule over six, seven million people. I mean people who begin to think like that , you must know there is something wrong somewhere. So when they do things like that, all they are trying to do is wreck the london summit which is as a result of the Lusaka summit. And therefore my only comment is honestly as I did in Havana to condemn the massacres that continue which is a crime against humanity. They attacked Zambia on the border at Chirundu, the boys returned the fire and kept silent at the same time as they were attacking Mozambique so (indistinct) can condemn that."
