    MR. WILSON IS SEEKING TO GET RUSSIAN SUPPORT FOR THE PROPOSAL TO RE-OPEN THE 1954 GENEVA CONFERENCE ON INDO-CHINA, BUT THE SOVIET PREMIER, MR. ALEXEI KOSYGIN, HAS ALREADY TOLD INDIA'S PRIME MINISTER, MRS. GANDHI, THAT SUCH A PROPOSAL WOULD NOT BE CONSIDERED BEFORE THE NORTH VIETNAMESE ASKED RUSSIA TO MAKE PEACE MOVES.

    MR. KOSYGIN MET MR. WILSON AT THE AIRPORT AND THE TWO LEADERS BEGAN FORMAL TALKS SOON AFTER HIS ARRIVAL.

    THE FORMAL REASON FOR MR. WILSON'S VISIT TO MOSCOW IS TO ATTEND THE BRITISH TRADE FAIR. HE AND MR. KOSYGIN VISITED THE FAIR TODAY (SUNDAY).

    FORMAL TALKS BETWEEN THE LEADERS CONTINUE TOMORROW (MONDAY). MR. WILSON IS DUE TO RETURN HOME ON TUESDAY.
