    THE AMOUNT, WHICH IS BEING KEPT SECRET FOR COMPETITIVE REASONS, IS BELIEVED TO BEING EXCESS OF A QUARTER OF A MILLION GALLONS (1,135,00 LITRES). ThE CONTRACT WAS SIGNED BY SHEIKH WAHIB BINZGAR DURING A VISIT TO THE DAIRY PRODUCING THE MILK AT CARDIFF IN SOUTH WALES.

    HE TOURED LLOYDS DAIRIES AT CARDIFF WHICH IS PROMOTING THE EXPORT OF LONG-KEEPING MILK WITH THE HELP OF THE NATIONAL DAIRY PRODUCERS ASSOCIATION. ThE BRITISH WON THE CONTRACT AGAINST STRONG OPPOSITION FROM EUROPEAN RIVALS AND ONLY AFTER NEGOTIATING SPECIAL TERMS WITH SHIPPERS AND PACKERS. ThE MILK WILL STAY FRESH FOR ANYTHING UP TO FIVE MONTHS PROVIDING AIR DOES NOT GET TO IT.

    THE COMPANY HAS ALREADY BEEN SENDING SAMPLE MILK CONSIGNMENTS TO SAUDI ARABIA AT THE RATE OF 9,000 GALLONS (41,000 LITRES) A WEEK. ThEY ALREADY EXPORT TO 40 NATIONS AND EXPECT THE NEW SAUDI ARABIAN CONTRACT TO OPEN UP THE REST OF THE MIDDLE EAST TO BRITISH "LONG LIGE" MILK.
