TRANSCRIPT: (SEQ. 2): BANDA: What have I seen? I saw Africans outside of the hotel, but some of you will say: "Oh, yes. But those were put there by the police (Laughter)." I know these people. Even where I saw them on the road some will say they were put there. But I saw with my own eyes on more than one occasion Africans running out of houses, coming to the streets, and yesterday I went to Soweto -- Remember that place. There were many children and their teachers. You know the security police -- you know what they are -- they didn't want these children to come near me, so I dot out of the car and said "Let's stop here". And as we were stopping, the children mobbed me. The police got threatening. I said: "Please, clear out." For once I was ordering the police to get away from my boys(Laughter). "Leave my boys alone", I said, "these are my children..leave them alone. If I am to be killed and have to be killed by these children, then I'll be very, very happy to die here and be killed by these children".
