Background: Today began with an early morning grenade attack on "Saladin" armoured vehicle which burst three tyres. Then follows "Flosy" demonstrations with foreground of fires burning in market place. Later demonstrator tore up roadside fencing to form barricade across road leading to market. In the afternoon a funeral service plus "Flosy" demonstration moved through Crater to burial ground. The funeral was of a "Flosy" commando alleged to have been shot by a member of the NLF. His name was Haidar Shamshar, 22 years old.
