    THE INDIAN PRIME MINISTER, MR. LAL BAHADUR SHASTRI, TODAY (THURSDAY) BEGAN TALKS ON WORLD PROBLEMS WITH BRITISH GOVERNMENT. THE DISCUSSIONS WITH MR. WILSON, THE BRITISH PRIME MINISTER, BEGAN IN DOWNING STREET, LONDON, SHORTLY AFTER MR. SHASTRI ARRIVED ON A FOUR-DAY VISIT.

    ON HIS ARRIVAL AT LONDON AIRPORT THIS MORNING MR. SHASTRI WAS ASKED AT A PRESS CONFERENCE IF HE THOUGHT THE PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC OF CHINA WAS STILL CONSIDERED A DANGER TO INDIA. HE REPLIED THAT "CHINA MAY TAKE A DANGEROUS STEP SOME TIME OR OTHER IF IT DOES NOT CHANGE ITS ATTITUDE TOWARDS INDIA". HE ADDED THAT HE AND MR. WILSON WOULD DISCUSS CHINA.

    TALKS BETWEEN THE TWO PRIME MINISTERS WERE IN PREPARATION FRO INTENSIVE WIDE-RANGING EXCHANGES OF VIEWS WHICH THE INDIAN LEADER WILL HAVE TOMORROW WITH MR. WILSON AND HIS MINISTERS.

    BEFORE THE LUNCH TODAY, MR. SHASTRI HAD AN AUDIENCE WITH QUEEN ELIZABETH AT BUCKINGHAM PALACE.
