    A COMMITTEE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE SEVEN MANILA CONFERENCE COUNTRIES IS TO BE SET UP IN WASHINGTON TO PROVIDE INFORMATION ON THE SOUTH VIETNAMESE EFFORT IN THE VIETNAM WAR. THE ANNOUNCEMENT CAME IN A JOINT COMMUNIQUE ISSUED AFTER A MEETING IN SAIGON OF THE AMBASSADORS OF THE UNITED STATES, SOUTH KOREA, THE PHILIPPINES THAILAND, AUSTRALIA AND NEW ZEALAND UNDER THE CHAIRMANSHIP OF SOUTH VIETNAMESE FOREIGN MINISTER DR. TRAN VAN DO.

    THE COMMUNIQUE SAID SENIOR OFFICERS FROM THE SIX EMBASSIES IN WASHINGTON AND FROM THE HOST GOVERNMENT WOULD FORM AN "INFORMATION WORKING GROUP" PRESIDED OVER BY THE VIETNAMESE REPRESENTATIVE.

    IT WAS THE SECOND MEETING AT AMBASSADOR LEVEL SINCE THE HEADS OF STATE OF THE COUNTRIES SUPPORTING THE SOUTH VIETNAMESE GOVERNMENT, MET IN MANILA IN OCTOBER. THE AMBASSADOR FIRST MET IN SAIGON ON FEBRUARY 27TH.
