As was the case in last year's motor shows it was the medium size family cars that were displayed on most of the stands. Among this range a great deal of interest was shown in the Simoa Ariane. Holland's own Daf 600 was mounted a stand covered in flowers.
Caravans of all sizes were displayed in the West Hall. This section is expected to prove very popular with visitors. Italy's Innocenti 950 was seen for the first time in Holland. This is the car the Italians hope will corner the world low price sports car market.
Ford provided a glance into the future with their Levacar. The car is intended to float on an air cushion but it was demonstrated here as a rail vehicle.
