TRANSCRIPT: TURNBULL: "Skydiving's not exactly a new sport; it's been around for decades. But, if you take a closer look at these particular parachutists, you'll notice they're not your run-of-the-mill acrobats. With little more than a parachute and courage, they took to the blue sky over Tocumwal for Australia's first Nude Skydiving Championships. As with all truly great sporting events, the competitors gathered from around the nation. Though some of the landings were less than copybook, you couldn't knock their style."
"The championships were organised by the Bungalee Holiday Village, a nudist colony peacefully set on the banks of the Murray (River). In the last few months, the colony's formed its own nudist skydiving club. And today's events attracted thirty entrants.
The championships were designed as a test of accuracy, with the flyers required to jump more than one thousand metres (yards) and land on a target rather delicately placed in a waiting sandpit. Although the competition was fierce, with the entrants vying for a mammoth forty dollars (GBP 20 sterling) prizemoney, the organisers admit there was still time for fun."
