ANILIN WON THE GBP22,000 PRIZE OF EUROPE OVER ONE-AND-A-HALF MILES (2400 METRES). IT WAS THE FIRST TIME THAT RUSSIAN HORSES HAD RACED IN WEST GERMANY, AND HERE THREE TOOK PART.

    ANILIN, RIDDEN BY N. NASSIBOV, WON BY FOUR LENGTHS, FROM THE GERMAN ENTRY KRONZEUGE. THE FRENCH-OWNED LAGOPEDE WAS THIRD. KRONZEUGE FINISHED TWO LENGTHS AHEAD OF LEGOPEDE.
