    Sabotage of Indian Railway by removing about 50 ft of rail track resulted in a most severe train crash at Ghoramara bridge between Gulma and Sivok station near Siliguri of Darjeeling District in the midst of thick forest. So far about 90 dead bodies have been recovered with the number of injured totalling 60. Many more dilapidated bodies have yet to be recovered from under the debris of four completely crashed bogies. The high authorities of the State Govt suspect it to be a case of sabotage since the crash took place in a district which is strategically significant. Darjeeling is a border district and has assumed considerable importance since the influx of Tibetan refugees into this district are the Sino-Indian trouble. At present the place has been heavily cordoned by State Armed Police force and High Security Officials. Experts from Forensic Dept. have already arrived at the spot to trace finger print on fish platex nuts. Attempts have already been made to clear the debris with heavy cranes and restoration of railway service by constructing a new diversion rail track and bridge.
