    MEMBERS OF THE INTERNATIONAL CONTROL COMMISSION SPENT SATURDAY OF THE LAST WEEK EXAMINING CAMBODIAN POSITIONS AT DAK DAM, WIPED OUT EARLIER IN THE WEEK IN A RAID BY UNITED STATES BOMBERS. THE US COMMAND IN SAIGON ANNOUNCED THE DAY AFTER THE RAID, WHICH TOOK PLACE ON THE 16TH ON THIS MONTH, THAT AMERICAN BOMBERS HAD ATTACKED NORTH VIETNAMESE GUN POSITIONS INSIDE CAMBODIA AFTER THEIR TROOPS HAD BEEN SHELLED ON THE SOUTH VIETNAMESE SIDE OF THE BORDER, BUT CAMBODIA HAS CLAIMED THAT ONLY CAMBODIANS DIED IN THE RAID.

    CAMBODIAN HEAD OF THE STATE PRINCE NORODOM SIHANOUK DENOUNCED THE RAID AS "US AGGRESSION" AND SAID THAT A COMPLAINT WOULD BE MADE TO THE UNITED NATIONS SECURITY COUNCIL.

    PRINCE SIHANOUK CLAIMED THAT THE MILITARY POSTS AT DAK DAM AND THE SURROUNDING AREA HAD BEEN DELIBERATELY ATTACKED AND THE ONLY VICTIMS HAD BEEN CAMBODIANS, NOT VIET CONG.

    A CAMBODIAN ARMY SPOKESMAN SAID THAT 25 CAMBODIANS DIED IN THE AIR AND ARTILLERY ATTACK, EIGHT WERE WOUNDED AND ONE OTHER WAS MISSING.
