    Among those present at the Jan 5 meeting were Tage Erlander, Sweden; Giusepe Saragat, Italy; Erich Ollenhauer, West Germany; Viggo Kampmann, Denmark; Brumo Pittermann, Austria; Hugh Gaitskell, Britain; Alsing Andersen, Socialist International; Guy Mollet, France; and Walther Bringolf, Switzerland.

    These talks were arranged last year to establish more frequent exchanges between European socialists.
