    THIS INVOLVES SEALING THE SHIP OFF AND USING A RECIRCULATING AIR SYSTEM, SO THAT THE CREW IS NOT SUBJECT TO CONTAMINATION BY FALLOUT.

    MEANWHILE, ANY CREW MEMBERS SHOULD BE NOW HAVE LET THE CAPTAIN KNOW IF THEY DONT WANT TO GO TO MURUROA, AS A PROTEST AGAINST FRENCH NUCLEAR TESTS.

    NAVY SPOKESMEN SAY IT'S EXPECTED THAT ALL THE CREW WILL BE WILLING TO GO.

    OTAGO IS ONE OF TWO FRIGATES ON STANDBY TO GO TO THE TEST ZONE.
