Nearing the end of his 12-day official visit to Indonesia, Russian Premier Kruschev began formal talks with Indonesian President Sukarno in the white summer palace at Bogor, 30-miles from Djakarta, Feb. 27.

In the Victorian atmosphere of the Dutch-built Presidential Palace, the two leaders, accompanied by Indonesian Foreign Minister Subandrio and Russian Foreign Minister Gromyko, settled down for serious discussions on further economic aid from Russia.

An undertaking to supply Indonesia with an atomic scientific research and training of specialists was included in agreements signed by Premier Kruschev and President Sukarno in Bogor. Feb 28. The agreements also speak of future industrial enterprises in the fields of iron and steel, chemicals, textile, and agricultural projects.

To finance the schemes, Russia will give Indonesia credits totalling about GBP90 million. This credit must be used within seven years, and be repaid in twelve years at 2 1/2 per cent interest.
