    The clash, brought about by the publication of a controversial magazine, forced classes to be cancelled. Later in the day, a bomb rocked the Faculty of Literature building, but the blast injured no one.

    Police called in to investigate the incidents temporarily sealed off the campus, allowing no one to enter or leave the university grounds.

Two students injured in the fighting had to be hospitalised. Before police arrived on the scene, an explosion rocked the Faculty of Literature building, but no one was hurt. The day of violence forced a cancellation of classes. Students were not allowed to enter or leave the university until police finished their investigation.

    Once allowed to re-enter the area, some students walked to the scene of the earlier clash. Blood was still visible of the pavement. One of the injured student was wounded when he was hit on the head with a stick to which a nail had been fixed.
