  • Description

The Northuberland coast -- forty miles has been established as a national Park, from just south of Berwick down to Amble. It's a stretch of cliffs and rocky inlets which include the Farne Islands, Warkworth, Dunstanburgh and this castle of Bamburgh.

First, the Isle of Wight: Our cameraman took these views of the properties just acquired. Looking across Freshwater Bay, this is East Afton Down -- an area of two-hundred acres given to the National Trust by Lord Mottistone in memory of his father, the First Baron.

Adjoining it Compton Farm has been bought bequeathed by the late Mrs. Salter of Gosport.

Bembridge Mill, the only one left on the island, has been accepted by the Trust after it's been put in good repair.
