    Following up the recent disclosure that their aircraft industry now produces the largest four-engined propellor aircraft in the world, the Russians have now announced the introduction of yet another turbo-prop airliner into service.

    This is the IL-18 Moska four-engined turbo-prop airliner - one of a wide variety of 'planes to be designed by the famous Russian aviation expert, Sergei Illyushin.

    With its' four engines generating a total of 16,000 horse power, the Mosks is capable of cruising at 405 m.p.h. and will carry 74 first-class passengers or 100 tourist-class.

    Capable of a range of 2,980 miles, the new aircraft has been specially insulated to guard against the noise of the engines. Economy is the chief feature of the aircraft and passenger fares on these flights will be almost the same as those charged for a third class railway ticket.
