Background: President Etienne Eyadema of Togo and President Francois Tombalbaye of Chad arrived in Libreville on Monday (18 May) for talks with President Albert Bongo of Gabon.
The two visiting Presidents were in Gabon on their way to Kinshasa and the third anniversary of the Congo-Kinshasa ruling party.
While in Libreville the Togo and Chad leaders discussed Central African affairs with President Bongo and agreed to meet regularly. International affairs were also a subject of the talks and particularly cooperation between members of the Afro-Malagasy Common organisation (OCAM).
President Eyadema and President Tombalbaye left Libreville for Kinshasa on Tuesday (19 May).
