Background: The 40th Turin Motor Show was opened on November 4 by President Gronchi. Over twelve nations are represented at the show by 480 car and accessories manufacturers, and 64 different models are on view.
The scarcity of new models is attributed to the make ??? absorption in the European Common Market project.
Even so there's plenty to sate the appetite of the motoring enthusiast. From the Chrysler de luxe sports touring car to the ultra modern Abarth. Probably the only gimmick in the show is the Fuori Serie -- a basic chassis to which can be added any one of a range of bodies.
